A native
of Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Leaf graduated from the University
of Chicago School of Medicine with Alpha Omega Alpha honors.
After a surgical internship at Stanford Medical center, he
returned to the University of Chicago for residencies in both
general and plastic surgery. He is certified by the American
Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
His published articles cover such topics as hand deformities
and injuries in children, microvascular surgical research,
and esthetic reconstruction of the face, nose and lips. He
continues to present papers to various organizations in the
field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. |
Currently
Dr. Leaf is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery
at UCLA Medical Center, where he actively participates in
the training of residents. He is on the staff of Cedars-Sinai
Medical Center, Midway Hospital (formerly Chief of Surgery)
and Century City Hospital. He is licensed to practice in California,
Colorado, and Illinois, and is a member of the American Society
of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic
Plastic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of
Surgeons, and is the past Chairman of the AMA Physicians'
Advisory Panel for Motion Picture, Radio, and Television.He
currently serves on the Visiting Committee to the University
of Chicago Division of Biological Sciences.
Dr. Leaf is internationally known, and has been featured on
many national television shows and magazines such as W, Vogue,
Allure, and More. He has practiced in Beverly Hills, California
for almost 30 years. |
